Wham–O wanted the Frisbee brand to be taken seriously in the competitive disc sports community, which was a tall order being as how it was still perceived by most as a casual toy. Nimbus Design developed a look and feel that reflects not only the fun–in–the–sun lifestyle of the committed disc sports player, but their serious competitive edge as well.
