The San Mateo County office of the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder and the Chief Elections Officer launches a completely redesigned Web site to bring critical information to the electorate.

Redwood City, CA - Nimbus Design, a Redwood City, California provider of technical and graphic design solutions, partnered with San Mateo County to present important documents and information to the public via the Web in an entirely new way. The site is fast, easy to navigate, and provides a huge benefit for the residents of San Mateo County.

The new CARE website (Clerk, Assessor, Recorder, Elections) contains an abundance of critical information on such topics as Business Services, Homeowner Resources, Records and Fees, and Voting and Elections. Additionally, it offers and online library of links and downloads that supplement the services offered by the Office of the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder.

It provides faster service online, allowing residents to submit questions online, access forms and records, and find information from multiple departments at the same convenient location.

The Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder & Chief Elections Officer of San Mateo County had a mission to better meet the information needs of its constituents and to improve the productivity of government staff. Nimbus Design responded by providing a new, innovative Web site with an attractive graphic design and an intuitive information architecture. Most importantly, these objectives were met on time, and within budget.
